A Teen Advisory Board is group of young people who help plan and advise programming & events at their public library. They may also volunteer to help during programs & events.
Teen Advisory Boards (sometime called TABs) are becoming more popular in libraries, and we like the idea too!
Since all staff members are adults, having a Teen Advisory Board would be a big help to make sure we're providing programs, opportunities, and resources, that you actually want and/or need!
Discover a world of knowledge and resources at Estill County Public Library Library, located in the heart of Irvine. Whether you're looking for books, digital media, or community events, we have something for everyone.
Meeting on every Monday, the Teen Club is the name for our Teen programs the TAB helps create. Right now this includes: Cartoon & Anime Club, Teen Craft, The Study Group, and a Tween & Teen program called Open Studio. You don't need to sign up for anything, just come by on Monday and have fun!
If you're too old for the kids programs, but you don't quite fit as a teen, no worries! We're working on providing cool programs for tweens too!
