A Teen Advisory Board is group of young people who help plan and advise programming & events at their public library. They may also volunteer to help during programs & events.
Teen Advisory Boards (sometime called TABs) are becoming more popular in libraries, and we like the idea too!
Since all staff members are adults, having a Teen Advisory Board would be a big help to make sure we're providing programs, opportunities, and resources, that you actually want and/or need!
We know that a lot of people in our community don't have time or the ability to make every meeting, or even a lot of our programs, but that doesn't mean your opinions and ideas don't matter!
We want to know how to better serve you and the community,
and we'd like feedback on anything you can think of!
Send us a email, or leave us suggestions at the library when you can visit!
Meeting on every first and 3rd Monday, the club aims to give teens fun ways to meet each other and hang out outside of school.
Meeting every second and 4th Monday, the cartoon & anime club is a offshoot of the teen club where teens can come to watch & talk about their favorite animated media. The library has a subscription through Crunchyroll, and you can suggest any age appropriate cartoon or anime.
If you're too old for the kids programs, but you don't quite fit as a teen, no worries! We're working on providing cool programs for tweens, if you have any suggestions please let us know!
Ages 4 - 18
Every Thursday, 4 pm
This page is a work in progress, and we plan on adding a lot more in the future!
